User Agreement
By accessing and using the Captain’s Marina Hotel website, you agree to comply with these terms and conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you should not use this website. By using this website or communicating with Captain’s Marina Hotel, you confirm that you are 18 years or older and accept these terms and conditions.
Booking Conditions
Captain’s Marina Hotel, located at Gangabada Asiriya, Custom Road, Balapitiya, Sri Lanka, operates under Captain’s Marina (Pvt) Ltd. All bookings made through our website, email, or direct communication are subject to the following conditions:
- Reservations are confirmed only after receiving a non-refundable deposit or full payment.
- Customers are responsible for verifying all booking details at the time of reservation.
- You are responsible for all charges, fees, and taxes associated with your booking.
Methods of Payment
Payments for reservations can be made via bank transfer or upon arrival at the hotel. If opting for a bank transfer, all associated fees must be covered by the guest. Guests may also choose to pay upon arrival at the hotel using cash or credit card.
Price Policy
Prices for accommodations and services at Captain’s Marina Hotel are subject to change without notice due to external factors such as exchange rate fluctuations, government regulations, or supplier price changes. Should there be a price increase after booking, you will be notified and required to pay the difference. Alternatively, you may cancel your booking in accordance with our cancellation policy.
Booking Confirmation

Amendments and Cancellations
All changes or cancellations to bookings must be communicated in advance:
- Cancellations made at least 7 days before the arrival date will be refunded in full, less any applicable bank charges.
- Cancellations made within 7 days of the arrival date are subject to a 100% cancellation fee.
- No-shows will incur a 100% cancellation fee.
Child Policy
- Children under 5 years stay free of charge when using existing bedding.
- Children aged 6-12 years sharing a room with parents will be charged 50% of meal rates.
- Full meal rates apply to children over 12 years.
Changes to the Booking
You may request to transfer your booking to another date or room type, subject to availability. Additional charges may apply based on the new booking details. To request changes, please contact us at [email protected].
Airport Transfers
Captain’s Marina Hotel offers airport transfer services at competitive rates. To arrange transfers, please provide your flight details. Contact [email protected] for more information.
Overbooking Policy
In the event of overbooking, Captain’s Marina Hotel will attempt to transfer your booking to a hotel of a similar or higher category at no additional cost. If a transfer is not acceptable, a full refund will be provided.
Health, Passport, and Visas
Guests are responsible for ensuring they have valid passports, visas, and any necessary health documents for travel. Captain’s Marina Hotel is not liable for any issues related to inadequate travel documentation.
Travel Insurance
We strongly recommend all guests purchase travel insurance to cover potential risks, including cancellations, medical expenses, and lost baggage. Captain’s Marina Hotel is not responsible for any losses incurred due to the lack of appropriate travel insurance.
Liability and Responsibility
Captain’s Marina Hotel is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage to guests or their property during their stay. We accept no responsibility for services provided by third parties or for circumstances beyond our control.
Behavior and Conduct
Guests are expected to behave responsibly and respect other guests, staff, and hotel property. Captain’s Marina Hotel reserves the right to terminate the stay of any guest causing disruption or damage, with no refunds provided.
Complaints and Dispute Resolution
We strive to provide an excellent guest experience. If you have a complaint during your stay, please notify hotel management immediately. If your issue is not resolved, please submit a written complaint within 14 days of your stay to [email protected].
Changes to Terms and Conditions
Captain’s Marina Hotel reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions at any time. Guests are advised to review the terms regularly to stay informed of any changes.
Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of Sri Lankan courts.
